José Rabuge is the founder and Executive Director of Ohuasi Investment, SGOIC, SA, an investment fund management company focused on fixed income and high yield assets in emerging and frontier markets, which uses mathematical models, macro events and the analysis of short, medium and long time trends to make investment decisions.

He is a senior executive with more than 15 years in the telecommunications technology and information systems sector, having held leadership positions at Ericsson, a leading multinational in the sector.

During his career, he held prominent positions as a member of the Leadership Team for Sub-Saharan Africa, where he was responsible for business development and expansion in this market in Africa, due to his ability to identify growth opportunities in challenging markets.

His academic background is solid and diverse. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Coimbra and postgraduate degrees in Information Systems and E-Business, Business Law and Administration from the University of Coimbra and the Catholic University, both renowned institutions in Portugal. He has participated in executive programs at prestigious institutions such as the London Business School and Boston University.
